Spring has finally arrived and I just moved our plants out to the patio. Last year I lost about 2/3s of my plants because of wind so this year I put together a cold frame using some abandoned bricks and an old store door. It seems to be doing the trick.

Also this year, even though I will be planting the majority of my tomatoes and peppers in raised beds I planning to use my containers from last year to grow a rotational crops throughout the summer.

Right now I have lettuce, leaf and head, along with beets, radishes, carrots and cabbage growing in the containers.
