Below are some of our fellow inhabitants at Elmdale Estate.
I would never have guessed that I would someday get to live this close this many amazing animals. It takes you out of the normal pass of life and helps you see how simple things can be.
A lot of the animals live on the property year round and some we see as visitors coming and going as the seasons change. There have been many more that we just haven't been able to capture in photo but we are always looking.
We see Great Blue Herons on the property, especially near the Heroncrest site, almost every day. They usually stay near the water's edge looking for their next meal. Hopefully one day we will get the perfect picture of one in flight or just standing and waiting to take off.
